This list of links below is intended as a helpful start as survivors seek healing. Please USE THESE LINKS WITH DISCERNMENT. Trust nothing more deeply than you trust your own inner knowing. If you do not feel you have a great relationship with that aspect of yourself yet, go gently and take everything with a grain of salt; what works for one survivor may not work for the next.

Books:
So far, by far, the most helpful book I (Maya) have encountered on this subject is Debbie Mirza’s The Covert Passive Aggressive Narcissist; Recognizing the Traits and Finding Healing After Hidden Emotional and Psychological Abuse. Describes well the phenomenon of Covert Narcissistic Abuse, is validating for survivors finding their way, and useful for friends and family who wish to be supportive of survivors. You can order it at Better World Books: https://www.betterworldbooks.com/product/detail/The-Covert-Passive-Aggressive-Narcissist--Recognizing-the-Traits-and-Finding-Healing-After-Hidden-Emotional-and-Psychological-Abuse-9780998621340
Another book highly recommended by many survivors is Jackson MacKenzie's Psychopath Free: https://www.betterworldbooks.com/product/detail/Psychopath-Free--Expanded-Edition---Recovering-from-Emotionally-Abusive-Relationships-With-Narcissists--Sociopaths--and-Other-Toxic-People-9780425279991
Meredith Miller’s book, The Journey; A Road Map for Self Healing After Narcissistic Abuse, recounts her ordeal and offers guidance to survivors. Order it: https://www.betterworldbooks.com/product/detail/The-Journey--A-Roadmap-for-Self-healing-After-Narcissistic-Abuse-9781979693387
Not specifically on Narcissistic Abuse, Susan Anderson's The Journey From Abandonment to Healing; Surviving Through Loss and Recovering from the Five Stages That Accompany the Loss of Love does have some great information for survivors of all types of abandonment. Here it is:
https://www.betterworldbooks.com/product/detail/The-Journey-from-Abandonment-to-Healing--Revised-and-Updated--Surviving-Through-and-Recovering-from-the-Five-Stages-That-Accompany-the-Loss-of--Love-9780425273531
Two books by family therapist Darlene Lancer - Codependency for Dummies and Dealing with a Narcissist: 8 Steps to Raise Self-Esteem and Set Boundaries with Difficult People. https://www.amazon.com/Codependency-Dummies-Darlene-Lancer/dp/1118982088/ and http://www.whatiscodependency.com/books-on-codependency/#5
The Happiness Hypothesis, by Johnathan Haidt, is a fascinating journey through the world's great philosophies on what makes us happy - with the neuroscience explaining the why's and how's - if you are interested in what makes us tick, this book is for you. (Does not deal specifically with abuse, but offers plenty of food for thought regarding how we become who we are.) https://www.betterworldbooks.com/product/detail/The-Happiness-Hypothesis--Finding-Modern-Truth-in-Ancient-Wisdom-9780465028023

Quizzes:
There are a number of quizzes out there now, both for assessing yourself on the scale of Narcissism, and to see if you are a victim of Narcissistic abuse. One of the best uses of these quizzes is simply that in reading them, survivors/you may find an unusual number of the “abusers traits” that parallel the traits of the abuser you knew. This eye-opening experience can, for some, be the first gateway to healing. Take a look at a few of them, as each has their quirks…

Videos, Film & TV:
There are a number of dramas available to watch that deal directly or indirectly with Narcissism. Please note that watchign these before you are ready may cause triggering in some survivors. For others, seeing the behaviors, words and empty eyes of the brilliant actors in these films may be disarmingly validating. Pay special attention to the roles victims play in their own demise (in most cases by denying their intuition.)
Narcissistic Abuse: An Unspoken Reality (Short Documentary) -
Fascinating mini-doc that includes a narcissist discussing his own illness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLCPDYt1wYk&t=8s
Narcissist - This one is amazing in how well it depicts classic behaviors - including such things as the love bombing, devaluing, and discard, the posture of the narcissist, and all the photos the narcissist is in with a lover show the way the narc is there as if he is the only one in the photo while the lover is in the picture with a sense of "being with someone" (Hard to explain if you have not yet experienced or realized this in your relationship, but if you have, you will recognize it immediately). . . a very telling short film. Therapists, Counselors, Other Helpers:
Strangely and sadly, it can be ridiculously difficult to find a helping professional who has been trained in and has experience working with survivors of Covert Narcissistic Abuse. We hope to grow this section of the site so all who seek help may find it.
